May 2, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Portugal-based Internet services provider NFSi Telecom (nfsi.pt) announced on Friday that it has joined data recovery solutions provider R1Soft's (r1soft.com) Hosting Partner Program and will deploy R1Soft's continuous data protection solution.

According to the latest press release, NFSi Telecom says it will offer the CDP solution as standard on all managed servers and for its other servers, the company will offer CDP as a premium add-on, starting at $30.00 euros per month.
"By offering R1Soft's solution, we will be able to reduce customer churn and increase customer satisfaction," says Nuno Vieira, chief technical officer of NFSi Telecom. "Customers who feel confident their data is protected are more likely to remain with the company in the long run."
NFSi Telecom says it is the leading ISP in Portugal, hosting more than 40,000 websites on more than 700 servers in its data center. The company works mostly with small to medium sized businesses in Portugal.
R1Soft launched its partner program in February as a way to "give web hosts an edge" in marketing and offering its CDP solution, as well as providing them with volume discounts, 50 percent off MySQL add-ons, professional public relations services and other brandable marketing materials.
